Code Blue Scents Buck Tarsal Gland Features The Code Blue Buck Tarsal Gland takes advantage of a deer s natural communication system since tarsal glands found on the hind legs secrete a musk that deer use to identify other deer and gauge their status in an area. By using a real whole gland soaked in authentic buck urine this product delivers an attractant scent that reads as genuinely convincing to deer passing through the area rather than a synthetic approximation. Hunters can use the gland to provoke a curiosity response or to simulate the presence of a rival buck both of which can draw deer into range of a stand or blind. The zip tie included with the gland makes hanging it from a tree branch or directly over a scrape simple and quick. Packaged in resealable packaging the gland stays protected and usable between hunts rather than drying out or losing effectiveness after a single outing. Hunters can refresh the scent s potency by adding more Code Blue Buck Urine to the bag as needed extending its usable life throughout the season. Designed for early mid and late season use this scent product adapts to different phases of the rut and general deer activity.
