Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle Chassis Features The Christensen Arms Modern Precision Rifle Chassis is machined from 7075 billet aluminum giving it the rigidity to properly support a Remington 700 short action barreled action while keeping total weight under three and a half pounds. That light weight comes from Christensen Arms ongoing focus on carbon fiber and precision machining carried over directly from their complete Modern Precision Rifle platform into this standalone chassis. The design is built specifically around the Remington 700 footprint so it accepts a short action barreled action without requiring custom gunsmithing. Shooters get a lightweight duty grade foundation that performs consistently whether it is carried across rough terrain or run from a bench. Included with the chassis is a 17 inch FFT carbon fiber handguard featuring M-LOK slots along its length giving shooters room to mount bipods lights and other accessories exactly where they need them. An FFT carbon fiber cheek riser pairs with an adjustable length of pull system so the stock can be tailored to the shooter s build and shooting position. This combination of adjustability and light carbon fiber components keeps the overall rifle balanced and comfortable to carry over long distances. Finished in black and built by hand in the USA the Modern Precision Rifle Chassis gives Remington 700 short action owners access to the same chassis technology found on Christensen Arms flagship precision rifle.
