Caldwell Lead Sled Weight Reservoir Features The Caldwell Weight Reservoir uses a leakproof bladder housed inside a rugged 600D nylon shell to let shooters add substantial ballast to their Lead Sled rest. A wide mouth opening makes filling with water sand or gravel quick and mess free so shooters can adjust weight at the range without hassle. Each reservoir holds 1.2 gallons and because Lead Sled 4 and Lead Sled DFT 3 rests each hold two reservoirs shooters can add up to roughly 20 lbs of water or 33 lbs of sand total. This added mass helps absorb recoil keeping the rifle steadier for repeated shots. When not filled the reservoir s collapsible design folds flat making it easy to store or transport without taking up excess space in a range bag. A tensioning strap secures each reservoir into the Lead Sled s adjustable weight tray keeping the bags in place during use. The durable nylon construction stands up to repeated filling and emptying across range sessions. This large 2-pack gives Lead Sled 4 and DFT 3 owners a straightforward way to customize recoil management for their specific shooting needs.
