Caldwell Lead Sled 4 Features The Caldwell Lead Sled 4 builds on the original Lead Sled concept that revolutionized shooting rests over twenty years ago holding a rifle or shotgun steady while added weight absorbs nearly all of the felt recoil. The redesigned frame relocates the weight tray tube beneath the rest opening up clearance for detachable box magazines and lever action rifles that older sled designs struggled to accommodate. The adjustable weight tray accepts Lead Sled Weight Reservoir Bags loose lead shot or standard 35 pound barbell weights letting shooters dial in exactly how much recoil reduction they need. Front elevation and windage adjustments work alongside rear fine elevation control to help shooters settle on a precise point of aim before firing. An all-weather rubber front bag cradles the firearm securely without marring the stock finish while the rear support uses Caldwell s Shock Eliminating recoil pad to further protect both the shooter and the firearm s scope from heavy recoil. This combination lets shooters sight in faster and more accurately since recoil anticipation is dramatically reduced during the process. The sturdy three-legged frame keeps the rest stable on a bench or tabletop even under significant recoil forces. For shooters who want to protect their shoulder and get a true zero without bad habits creeping in the Caldwell Lead Sled 4 is available for sale at GrabAGun.
