Byrna Technologies CL Basic Kit Features The Byrna CL Basic Kit reimagines the entire less-lethal launcher platform for maximum concealability resulting in the most compact CL launcher Byrna has built roughly 38 percent smaller than the company s SD and LE units. Powered by compressed CO2 and firing .61 caliber kinetic or chemical irritant projectiles the launcher can disable a threat from up to 60 feet away with velocities reaching up to 400 feet per second. Patented pull-pierce technology keeps the CO2 cartridge unpunctured until the first trigger pull at which point the cartridge is punctured and a projectile launched simultaneously extending shelf readiness. A 5 round magazine and a loaded chamber indicator give the user both ammunition capacity and a clear visual confirmation of the launcher s ready state. A Picatinny rail and a red-dot-ready universal bolt pattern allow the CL to accept common aftermarket optics giving users the option to upgrade target acquisition beyond the included high contrast white dot sight system. An ambidextrous thumb safety and straight trigger design accommodate shooters of either hand orientation improving usability across a range of users. At just 1.18 inches wide and 0.76 pounds the launcher remains genuinely concealable for everyday carry in a way that larger less-lethal platforms cannot match. For anyone seeking a compact reliable non-lethal self-defense tool with real stopping power the Byrna CL Basic Kit is available for sale at GrabAGun.
