Browning Cutoff Skinner Features The Browning Cutoff Skinner is built around a 2.5 inch blade crafted from 9Cr14MoV stainless steel hardened to 59-61 on the Rockwell scale for a durable long-lasting edge. A black oxide stonewashed finish on the blade resists glare and adds a layer of corrosion resistance during extended field use. Full-tang construction runs the steel the entire length of the handle giving the knife added strength and balance for the repeated cutting tasks involved in field dressing game. The plain edge is ground for clean controlled cuts when skinning or caping an animal. A two-tone black and tan G10 handle gives the knife a secure slip-resistant grip even when hands are wet or bloody in the field. A lanyard hole in the handle allows the knife to be tethered for added security during use. The knife ships complete with a nylon belt sheath making it easy to carry on a belt throughout a day of hunting. At just 6.25 inches overall the Browning Cutoff Skinner is compact enough to pack along on any big game hunt without adding noticeable bulk.
