Black Rain Ordnance Sportsman+ RIA Features The Black Rain Ordnance Sportsman+ RIA is built on the familiar AR-15 platform giving .22 LR shooters the same ergonomics and controls found on their centerfire rifles for low-cost training. An 18 barrel provides a longer sight radius and more consistent rimfire velocities useful for shooters working on fundamentals at the range. The black and titanium two-tone finish gives the rifle a modern eye-catching look that separates it from a typical all-black AR-15. This combination of familiar platform and rimfire economy makes the rifle approachable for shooters of all experience levels. A 10-round magazine keeps the rifle compliant with capacity restrictions common in many states while still offering enough rounds for productive range sessions. Building rimfire skills on an AR-pattern rifle lets shooters transfer muscle memory directly to their centerfire rifles making practice sessions more valuable. The titanium-accented finish also helps the rifle resist the wear that comes from repeated range use and handling. This rifle suits new shooters learning the platform as well as experienced AR owners looking for an affordable way to run more rounds down range.
