Birchwood Casey Duracap Training Rounds Features The Birchwood Casey Duracap Training Rounds are CNC machined from solid aluminum giving them precise dimensions that replicate the feel and function of a live 9mm round without any powder or primer. Hard anodizing on the aluminum body ensures smooth cycling through the pistol s action during repeated dry fire sessions. A durable rubber firing pin impact buffer sits inside each round absorbing the strike of the firing pin and preventing damage that can occur from repeated dry firing without snap caps. This protection extends the service life of the firearm during training. Each 6 pack is laser marked for easy identification helping shooters and instructors quickly distinguish dummy rounds from live ammunition during handling and storage. Finished in red the rounds stand out visually reducing the chance of confusion during mixed training sessions. These Duracap rounds are well suited for safety training function testing a new or repaired firearm and practicing malfunction clearance drills. Birchwood Casey builds these training rounds to give shooters a reliable reusable tool for developing safe handling habits with a 9mm pistol.
