Birchwood Casey Duracap Training Rounds Features The Birchwood Casey Duracap Training Rounds are CNC machined from solid aluminum giving them precise repeatable dimensions that mimic the feel of a live .300 Blackout cartridge during handling. Hard anodizing produces a smooth surface that functions reliably through a rifle s action supporting realistic function testing and training drills. A durable rubber firing pin impact buffer absorbs the strike of the firing pin protecting that critical component from the damage that can occur from repeated dry fire on an empty chamber. Laser marking on each round makes identification quick and clear reducing the chance of confusing a dummy round with live ammunition. These training rounds are built for safety training function testing and secure storage applications where a visibly inert round is essential. The bright red anodized finish makes the Duracap rounds easy to spot at a glance adding a visual safety check beyond their laser markings. Because they carry no powder or primer they let shooters safely practice malfunction drills chamber checks and administrative handling without any risk of discharge.
