Ballistic Advantage Premium Series Barrel Features The Ballistic Advantage Premium Series Barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel a material prized for its corrosion resistance and ability to hold precise tolerances over thousands of rounds. The SPR barrel profile balances weight and rigidity giving the barrel enough mass to resist heat-induced stringing while still keeping the rifle maneuverable. A 1:7 inch twist rate is matched to the heavier bullet weights typically loaded in 6mm ARC ensuring proper stabilization for consistent accuracy at distance. The bead blasted finish gives the barrel a matte non-reflective surface that also helps mask minor handling marks over time. A mid-length gas system is used to time the cycling of the action more smoothly than a carbine-length system reducing felt recoil and bolt carrier velocity for a softer shooting experience. The Premium Series line also incorporates a Nickel Boron coated extended M4 feed ramp extension improving feeding reliability during rapid strings of fire. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 a standard pattern that accepts a wide range of muzzle brakes compensators and suppressors. Built for AR-15 platform rifles chambered in 6mm ARC this Ballistic Advantage barrel is a precision upgrade for sale at GrabAGun.
