Angstadt Arms Hydraulic Buffer Kit Features The Angstadt Arms Hydraulic Buffer Kit uses an internal hydraulic damping mechanism to tame the sharp fast recoil impulse typical of straight blowback pistol caliber carbines. The Heavy Damping profile inside this kit is tuned specifically for suppressed use or for unsuppressed barrels longer than 8 inches where additional mass helps control bolt velocity and felt recoil. At 6 ounces the buffer adds meaningful weight over a standard carbine buffer slowing bolt carrier speed and smoothing the overall cycling of the action. Because the buffer measures 4.35 inches extended and compresses to 3.90 inches it fits directly into a standard buffer tube without requiring an additional spacer. Built for AR pattern rifles chambered in 9mm .40 SW or .45 ACP this kit is aimed at PCC shooters looking to reduce muzzle movement and improve follow up shot speed. The kit includes both the hydraulic buffer itself and a carbine buffer spring giving builders a straightforward drop in upgrade over OEM components. A black bumper finish keeps the rear of the rifle looking clean once installed. For shooters running suppressed PCCs or longer unsuppressed barrels who want a noticeably smoother shooting experience the Angstadt Arms Hydraulic Buffer Kit offers a direct proven solution.
