American Tactical GSG Firefly Features The American Tactical GSG Firefly runs a DA/SA trigger system giving shooters a choice between a longer double-action first pull or a lighter single-action follow-up shot. Chambered in .22 LR the pistol offers an economical platform for training and plinking without the cost of centerfire ammunition. A 4.9 steel barrel threaded M9x75 RH accepts a suppressor letting shooters reduce report for quieter range sessions and extended practice without the fatigue that comes from centerfire recoil and muzzle blast. The polymer frame keeps overall weight to just 24.6 oz with a serrated zinc alloy slide finished in black for durability and a secure racking surface that stands up to repeated dry fire and live fire training alike. Finished in Smoke Grey the frame gives this Firefly variant a subdued modern look distinct from the standard black training pistol appealing to shooters who want their rimfire trainer to stand apart from a stock model. Black polymer grips provide a secure hold across a range of hand sizes keeping the pistol controllable through long strings of fire. An adjustable rear sight allows shooters to fine-tune point of impact to their preference a feature not always found on budget rimfire pistols and one that helps new shooters learn proper sight alignment. The ambidextrous thumb safety accommodates both right and left-handed shooters without requiring modification making the Firefly a practical choice for households and training environments where more than one shooter will handle the gun. Two 13-round magazines ship with the pistol giving shooters ample capacity for extended training drills or casual range days and the low cost of .22 LR ammunition makes the GSG Firefly a natural fit for anyone looking to build trigger control and fundamentals without burning through a centerfire ammunition budget.
