Allen ULTRX Tapered Foam Plugs Features The Allen ULTRX Tapered Foam Plugs use a soft flexible polyurethane foam that compresses easily for insertion and then expands to form a secure seal inside the ear canal. That tapered natural shape is designed to protect hearing more effectively than a straight cylindrical plug conforming closely to the ear rather than fighting its shape. With a 32dB noise reduction rating these plugs cut harmful sound levels from gunfire power tools and other loud environments down to safer levels. Meeting both ANSI S3.19 and CE EN 352-2 standards gives shooters and workers confidence that the stated protection rating has been independently verified. Each box holds 15 pairs in a vibrant purple color making the plugs easy to spot in a range bag or toolbox and easy to tell apart from other protection in a shared supply. They are part of Allen s ULTRX lineup a complete hearing and eye protection system that spans foam plugs through electronic eBuds for every type of shooter. The disposable format means a fresh clean pair is always available which matters for hygiene and consistent fit over repeated range trips. Lightweight and inexpensive this box is a practical addition to any shooting bag hunting pack or job site kit.
