Aguila Shotgun Ammunition Features The Aguila 20 gauge shotshell is loaded with lead shot in the #7.5 size a shot size favored by upland hunters for its balance of pattern density and knockdown power on birds like pheasant. The 1 ounce shot charge is sized to deliver consistent coverage without excessive recoil which matters over a long day in the field. At 1220 fps the load provides enough energy for clean ethical kills at typical upland shooting distances while keeping the shooting experience comfortable. The 2.75 inch shell length keeps this load compatible with the wide range of 20 gauge shotguns hunters already carry afield. Aguila built this load specifically with pheasant hunting in mind tuning the shot size and payload for the kind of flushes hunters encounter in the field. Lead shot construction gives this load dense reliable patterns that steel shot alternatives often cannot match at these ranges. Supplied in this bulk case quantity hunters get a full season s worth of ammunition without needing to restock mid season. For upland hunters looking for a proven 20 gauge pheasant load this Aguila shotshell is a dependable choice for the field.
