RIFLE: EAGLE ARMS MODEL EAGLE-15, SERIAL NUMBER E15-000298B, BLACK (MATTE), CASE NOT INCLUDED, SEMI - AUTOMATIC, 5.56MM, 16, UGLY Notes: Eagle Arms' Eagle-15 comes from an interesting chapter in AR-15 history, with Eagle Arms becoming closely tied to the revived ArmaLite name during the 1990s. Rifles and receivers from this period can be encountered with "Eagle Arms" and "Div. ArmaLite" markings, giving them a little more historical personality than the average modern AR. Beneath the cosmetics, this remains a familiar AR-pattern rifle with conventional controls, broad parts compatibility, and plenty of potential as a solid project platform. This Eagle-15 features a heavy-profile barrel with a 1:8 twist, carbine-length gas system, and a railed gas block for mounting a front sight or compatible accessory. The rifle is currently wearing some very faded DIY camouflage, with remnants of gold spray paint primarily along the left side and army green with additional gold showing across portions of the right side, handguard, and gas block. Its included metal Brownells 30-round magazine received the same spray-paint treatment. Cosmetics aside, the underlying rifle provides a stout and straightforward foundation for anyone wanting a restoration, refinishing project, or personalized AR build without starting from scratch.
