This pre-owned AMT Back Up is a classic American-made compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in .380 ACP. Manufactured by Arcadia Machine & Tool (AMT), the Back Up became well known for its extremely compact dimensions, stainless-steel construction, and distinctive no-frills design. Designed as a highly compact pistol, the AMT Back Up features a short barrel and solid stainless-steel construction that gives it a substantial feel despite its small overall size. Its minimalist profile and unmistakable vintage styling are representative of an era when compact .380 ACP pistols were considerably less common than they are today. The AMT Back Up has become an interesting piece for collectors of discontinued American firearms, particularly those interested in compact pistols and the unique designs produced by AMT. This pre-owned example offers an opportunity to add one of AMT's recognizable pocket pistols to a collection.
