evo.com | Nordica Skis > The Nordica Unleashed 106 CA Skis combine a nimble and lively character with plenty of all-mountain versatility for freeriders tackling varied snow conditions and terrain in the resort. This version ditches the titanal metal layer for a lighter, more energetic ride, with Nordica's Freeride Flow Shape delivering ample maneuverability to drift and slash in fresh snow. The 106mm waist width his the spot for daily driver duty, making this an easy pick for a one and done quiver. Sintered Base We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Powder Rocker Gentle, early-rise rocker tip makes it super easy to initiate turns and set an edge while the turned up tail increases control by making it easy to release the ski from a turn. GR400 Carbon Glass ABS Sidewalls The Salomon Strive 14 GW Ski Bindings are an all-new lightweight resort ripper for responsive freeriding. The design of the LDN toepiece puts you close to the snow for maximum contact and response, enhancing power transmission for a smooth on-snow feel. The superlight design is reinforced with metal in key areas, and 45mm of elastic travel means they can handle rough riding without letting you down. The low profile Strive 14 bindings set a new standard in all-mountain performance. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. LDN Toe Low. Direct. Neutral. These are the deign characteristics of the revolutionary new LDN Toepiece. A lower center of gravity places the binding closer to the ski for better next-to-snow feel and the wide base delivers more direct response and reaction throughout the turn. The flatter, neutral stance puts the skier in a more balanced position by preserving the natural flex and arc of the ski. Locking Brakes The brakes feature a smartly designed clip-in system that locks the skis together as you throw them over your shoulder, making long hauls easy! Automatic Toe Adaptation The toe adapts automatically to your alpine normed boot height and ensures constant release values, even on worn out boots.
