evo.com | Armada Skis > A longtime favorite at evo and the Pacific Northwest in general, the Armada ARV 106 Black Edition Skis get a fresh new "all business" look. This is one of the most balanced freeride skis we know of, built to take the abuse of the park and head back to the top of the mountain for pow laps over and over again. As usual, the ARV 106 starts with a Poplar wood core (now with an Ash binding insert) and adds W3Dgewall construction with thick 2.5 Impact Edges to take the stress of hard landings and park features. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. 2.5 Impact Edge Oversized and specially heat-treated, this edge is built to resist impact damage in the most demanding situations. Poplar Core Stability, power, and ease are paramount in this 100% poplar wood core. For those looking for predictability and smoothness, the Poplar core delivers in all snow conditions. Freestyle Rocker Rockered tips and tails are combined with positive camber underfoot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so. Turn the whole mountain into your playground. S7 Base Durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness. The Armada Strive 16 MNC Ski Bindings take everything you love about the Shift binding and turn it into a lightweight resort ripper for floaty and responsive downhill performance you'll love. On first glance the toe piece looks familiar - it's LDN design puts you close to the snow for maximum contact and response, enhancing power transmission for a smooth on-snow feel. The superlight design is reinforced with metal in key areas, and 45mm of elastic travel means this high DIN destroyer can handle rough riding without letting you down. Up your game on the lifts this year with the all new Armada Strive 16 MNC Ski Bindings. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. LDN Toe (Low, Direct, Neutral) Low center of gravity places the binding closer to the ski for better response and snow feel. Locking Brakes A smart click and lock brake system conveniently fastens skis together for easy shoulder carry. Low Profile Chassis A low stand height improves your feel for the terrain and enhances power transmission to the ski. SCP Slider Pedal Anti-friction system to guarantee safe release. | Armada ARV 106 Black Edition Skis 2027 - 164 Package (164 cm) + 100 Adult Alpine Bindings Size 164/100
