evo.com | Armada Skis > Light, snappy and with the personality of a frisky kitten, the super popular Armada ARW 88 Skis give you an all-mountain option that isn't fit for stodgy dowagers. Full Poplar wood core with a burly 2.5mm Impact Edge and ultra durable W3DGEWALL sidewall tech, the ARW 88 isn't your Mom's daily driver (but she might love it anyway). We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. 2.5 Impact Edge Oversized and specially heat-treated, this edge is built to resist impact damage in the most demanding situations. Freestyle Rocker Rockered tips and tails are combined with positive camber underfoot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so. Turn the whole mountain into your playground. S7 Base Durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness. Ash Binding Insert Ash binding inserts provide maximum strength and binding retention with a more sustainable construction than binding inserts made from other materials. Be kind to your knees and your knees will be kind to you. You can start by mounting up the Look SPX 11 GW Ski Bindings, which offer 27mm of vertical elasticity in the heel and 45mm of lateral elasticity in the toe. Their superior shock absorption and reliable retention has long been appreciated by all mountain skiers, and a GripWalk compatible design means they play nice with every resort boot in the business. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Long Elasticity Longer elastic travel ensures more reliable retention to keep you in when you need. LOOK bindings offer the most elastic travel (lateral and vertical) and the fastest re-centering prior to release, ensuring superior shock absorption to reduce unwanted pre-release. SPX Heel Piece LOOK's SPX heel design offers 27mm of elastic travel for best-in-class shock absorption, confident retention, and a significant reduction in unwanted prerelease. An oversize heel pivot increases coupling strength (boot-binding interface) for more efficient power transmission. Full Action Toe | 45 mm Elasticity Featuring 45mm of elastic travel and 180deg multi-directional release, the Full Action toe piece delivers best-in-class retention and release and increased coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface) for maximum power transmission.
