What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore these on a bitter cold day up high and never had to think about my hands again once I put them on. The leather palm gripped my pole confidently even after hours of exposure to the wind."Cold hands end a ski day faster than tired legs ever will, and the Apex Pro Mitten is built to push that moment back as far as possible. Swany layered a Tri-Plex Alpha insulation system with SolarCore technology underneath a performance leather shell, giving hands real staying power through long lift lines and exposed ridgelines alike. A DryFinger II insert keeps moisture out without sacrificing breathability, so hands stay dry whether the day brings dry powder or wet spring snow. The Aerodyne palm construction adds grip exactly where a pole strap needs it, and internal finger channels keep fingers positioned comfortably inside the mitten shell instead of bunching together at the tip.
