What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Wall Rider MIPS Twiceme 2. 0 Helmet on an alpine route with a lot of loose rock overhead and felt noticeably more at ease knowing the MIPS layer was in there. It still disappears on my head like a normal ultralight helmet, so I never had to think twice about comfort to get that extra protection."An alpine route with loose rock overhead calls for a helmet that takes protection seriously without adding bulk, and the Wall Rider MIPS Twiceme 2. 0 Helmet from Mammut does exactly that. Clip it on at the base of the approach and forget it's there through hours of exposed climbing and scrambling, right up until the moment it matters most. The Mips Evolve Core sits inside the hybrid ABS and foam construction, redirecting rotational force on impact to help lower the risk of brain injury, while Twiceme smart safety technology adds a layer of protection before and after an incident. A redesigned profile extends coverage across the back and sides, and the same large vents and internal air channels keep things cool on long, sweaty pitches, so the added safety never comes at the cost of comfort.
