What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I pushed these hard through some chopped up crud on a busy powder day and they stayed locked in without ever feeling like they'd bounce me off line. Carving back onto groomed runs afterward, the edge grip held firm even at higher speeds than I usually ski."Speed rewards a ski that stays locked to the snow, and the Line Optic 96 Ski was built specifically for riders who want to open it up. We point these downhill and the titanal laminate underfoot keeps us connected through variable conditions, plowing through crud one moment and arcing a clean turn onto a groomer the next without ever feeling unsettled. Gas Pedal Metal Overdrive spreads titanal across the ski's width for edge grip and torsional stability, while independent tip and tail metal pieces add power without stiffening the whole ski into something lifeless. An Aspen Veneer core keeps that platform lively underneath it all, and a five cut sidecut blends multiple turn radiuses into one ski, giving us an intuitive, confident feel whether we're railing a groomer or blasting through chopped up snow at speed.
