The Hestra XC Primaloft Mitt pairs Primaloft Gold insulation with a windproof, water-repellent three-layer shell built for cross-country skiing and cold-weather runs in the depths of winter. We cut the fit narrower through the hand to match a woman's grip, and the backhand's ventilating stretch fabric keeps the mitten moving with the hand rather than against it. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I check my watch mid-ski without stripping a mitten off, the touchscreen thumb reads through the fabric even with cold hands."
