The Fischer Ranger 96 women's skis handle groomers, bumps, trees, and powder without asking for a specialist's technique. Rocker lifting the tip and tail eases turn initiation in soft or uneven snow, while camber underfoot and a tapered shape keep the ski settled and predictable when conditions firm up. A poplar and beech wood core pairs with a shaped titanium laminate to stay damp at speed, and a full sidewall construction sends power straight to the edge for skiers ready to carve harder. Lighter or less aggressive skiers tend to get along with this ski more easily than heavier, more powerful ones looking to push it to its limit. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I hopped on the Ranger 96 without a plan for the day and it handled soft bumps in the morning and firm groomers by afternoon without ever feeling like the wrong tool. Pushing into a hard carve on refrozen snow, the edge held instead of skittering, though I could feel it start to work harder as I leaned into more speed and weight than it wanted."
