Samson K-Rail Features The Samson AK47 M-LOK K-Rail extends handguard length beyond the factory piece shielding the shooter s hand from barrel heat while opening up significantly more real estate for mounting accessories along its five-sided M-LOK surface. An adjustable alignment system uses twistable wedges in the receiver block to rotate the handguard into perfect alignment during installation a detail that matters given the variance found across stamped AKM receivers. The rail works with the factory gas tube and does not require removal of the lower handguard retainer keeping installation straightforward without permanent modifications. An extended lip index point lets the shooter feel by touch when their support hand thumb is getting too close to the hot gas tube. Because this K-Rail includes a sling loop cutout shooters who prefer a traditional sling attachment point over a modern QD system get that option built directly into the rail. Recessed screws prevent the burns that can occur when handling a rail with proud heat-conducting screw heads after firing. The top rail section allows optic mounting directly on the receiver s centerline useful for shooters wanting a red dot without a separate side-mount rail. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and hardcoat anodized in black the K-Rail is built to hold up to the recoil and handling of hard AK-47 use over years of service.
