Pietta Great Western II US Grant Features The Pietta Great Western II US Grant is chambered in .45 Colt and holds six rounds in its cylinder giving shooters a proven single action platform built around a classic American cartridge. The 4.75 inch barrel provides a fast well balanced point of aim that suits both holstered carry and stage shooting while the fixed sights keep the profile clean and free of snag points. Pietta built the Great Western II series to recall the revolvers that defined the frontier era and the US Grant model carries engraved styling that sets it apart from a plain working gun. Reliable single action operation means each trigger pull cocks the hammer for a crisp consistent release shot after shot. The Ultra Ivory polymer grips are shaped for a secure comfortable hold and provide the bright traditional look historically associated with fine single action revolvers without the fragility of real ivory. Engraved panels on the frame and cylinder add a level of finish typically reserved for custom work making this revolver as much a showpiece as a shooter. Pietta has built a reputation supplying faithfully styled single action revolvers to collectors reenactors and cowboy action shooters who want authentic looks with modern reliability. Whether displayed or carried afield the Great Western II US Grant delivers old world craftsmanship married to dependable single action performance.
