Mossberg SA-28 Features The Mossberg SA-28 runs on a smooth-cycling gas-operated system that tames recoil and keeps the shotgun tracking fast between shots a real advantage on crossing birds or repeat clays. The vent rib barrel improves sighting consistency down the rib and the included extended turkey choke tube tightens patterns for longer-range gobbler work right out of the box. A cross-bolt safety keeps operation simple and familiar for shooters moving between platforms and the top Picatinny rail on the receiver gives hunters a mounting point for a red dot when precision shot placement on a turkey s head matters most. Low recoil and light carry weight mean less fatigue on long walks to the blind or through thick cover chasing woodland grouse. Dressed in Mossy Oak Greenleaf over a synthetic stock the SA-28 is built to disappear in early-season foliage while standing up to wet muddy hunts. The fixed length of pull of 14.25 inches suits a wide range of shooters and the fiber optic ghost ring sight combination gives a bright fast sight picture in low light under a canopy. At 5.5 pounds the gun points naturally and swings quickly on flushing birds reducing fatigue during long upland outings. Whether it is a first 28 gauge for a new hunter or a dedicated turkey gun for an experienced shooter the SA-28 delivers a purpose-built platform for sale at GrabAGun.
