MKS JXP Features The MKS JXP is built around a +P rated threaded 5.2 barrel chambered in 10mm giving handloaders and factory +P shooters the flexibility to run hot loads without exceeding the pistol s rated pressure envelope. The last round lock open function holds the slide back once the 10 round magazine runs dry which speeds up reloads and gives a clear visual and tactile signal the gun is empty during training or a defensive encounter. A YC9 inspired slide with aggressive front and rear serrations gives a sure grip for chambering a round even with wet or gloved hands and the fully adjustable 3 dot sight system lets a shooter dial in windage and elevation to their preferred point of impact. Weighing 49 ounces unloaded the JXP carries enough mass to soak up 10mm recoil and keep follow up shots manageable for both new and experienced shooters. New textured grip panels wrap the polymer frame for a secure hold that stays put under recoil and in wet conditions while the black powder coat finish resists corrosion and wear from daily carry or range use. The included Crimson Trace red dot arrives mounted on the standard 1913 accessory rail and the same rail accepts lights or lasers for a fully customized defensive setup. An oversized thumb safety and a magazine disconnect safety work together to reduce the chance of an unintended discharge an important feature for households and range environments alike. The 10 round magazine hard case and full operations and safety documentation round out a complete package backed by Hi-Point s lifetime warranty and available for sale at GrabAGun for 10mm shooters who want red dot capability straight out of the box.
