JTS Lonestrike Features The JTS Lonestrike is built around a break-open single shot action with an ejector which tosses the spent hull clear on opening so the shooter can reload quickly between flushes. The 26 blued steel barrel is threaded for Rem Choke pattern tubes and the gun ships with a Winchester Invector-style modified choke already installed giving a versatile starting point for upland game waterfowl or turkey loads out to moderate range. The 3 chamber handles both standard and magnum 20 Gauge shells so the same gun can be set up light for dove season or loaded heavier for late-season birds. A drilled and tapped receiver accepts a Weaver 82 classic rail meaning the Lonestrike can be topped with a red dot or scope for turkey hunting without any gunsmithing. The fixed hardwood stock gives the Lonestrike a traditional look and a solid familiar feel in hand and its 43 overall length combined with a 7 lb weight keeps the gun light enough to carry all day in the field without wearing out the shooter. Sling swivel studs are included so the gun can be carried hands-free between stands or on long walks to a blind. Steel construction on both the barrel and receiver stands up to the knocks of daily field use and the blued finish resists corrosion while keeping maintenance simple. As a single shot the Lonestrike is an ideal first shotgun for a new hunter learning fundamentals or a lightweight affordable backup gun for an experienced shooter heading out for an afternoon hunt.
