Iver Johnson Drum Magazine Features The Iver Johnson drum magazine holds 100 rounds of 5.56 / .223 Rem ammunition dramatically extending the amount of fire a shooter can deliver before needing to reload compared to a standard 30-round box magazine. Its polymer construction keeps the drum relatively lightweight for its capacity and the Black finish with a translucent back cover allows a quick visual check of remaining rounds without removing the magazine. This drum is built to fit standard AR-15 pattern rifles requiring no modification to the host firearm. For range sessions or situations where extended firing capacity matters this magazine offers a meaningful upgrade over standard-capacity magazines. A included black Cordura nylon carrying case makes it easy to transport and store the drum safely when not in use protecting the magazine s follower mechanism and reducing wear during travel. Iver Johnson s drum design gives AR-15 owners a straightforward way to extend range time without constantly swapping magazines mid-session. The visible ammunition count through the clear back panel is a genuinely useful feature for tracking rounds fired during extended shooting strings. For AR-15 owners looking to add significant capacity to their rifle setup this 100-round drum magazine is a practical option.
