German Precision Optics GPOTAC Features The German Precision Optics GPOTAC uses a magnifying first focal plane reticle meaning the illuminated PLR reticle scales proportionally with the scope s 4.5-27x zoom range so holdover and ranging references remain accurate at any magnification setting. The 34mm main tube provides greater internal adjustment range than a standard 30mm tube supporting the large mil-rad zero-stop locking target turrets that let the shooter dial elevation confidently and return to a true zero every time. A removable magnification throw lever speeds up power changes during fast-paced shooting scenarios. This turret and reticle system is built for precision rifle competitors and long-range hunters who need repeatable adjustments under pressure. Double HD objective lenses paired with GPObright lens coating technology maximize light transmission through the 50mm objective delivering a bright high-contrast image from dawn through dusk. The iControl illumination system lets the shooter dial in the ideal reticle brightness for changing light conditions without hunting through excessive settings. See-through bikini-style ocular and objective lens covers keep the glass protected from dust and moisture while still allowing a quick check of the reticle when the scope is capped. Finished in a matte black housing the GPOTAC is built to handle the recoil and rough handling that come with serious long-range rifle use.
