Franklin Armory Salus Features The Franklin Armory Salus lower receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard coat anodized giving it the strength and wear resistance builders expect from a duty-grade receiver. A flared magazine well speeds up mag changes under time pressure while a specialized tension screw locks the upper and lower together to eliminate the wobble common on lesser builds. Ambi QD sling mounts let shooters set up a sling on either side to match their preferred carry method. The enlarged trigger guard built into the receiver accommodates gloved hands making the Salus practical for cold-weather and duty use alike. Rounding out the package the Salus ships with Franklin Armory s Binary AR-Elite trigger giving the shooter a switch-selectable option between standard semi-auto and Franklin s binary firing mode. An Ergo Ami Sure Grip is installed for a secure non-slip hold and an SBM4 brace is fitted to complete the pistol configuration out of the box. A Magpul 30-round PMag is included so the lower is ready to run as soon as an upper is attached. Together these components make the Salus a complete feature-loaded foundation for an AR pistol build.
