FK BRNO F9 Copper Features The FK BRNO F9 Copper is built around an all copper monolithic bullet with a wide meplat flat nose profile a design chosen specifically to maximize wound channel diameter and depth on impact. At 101 grain and 1950 fps the load carries kinetic energy well above typical handgun cartridges while still cycling through a standard size automatic pistol with a 5 inch or 6 inch barrel. FK BRNO developed the 7.5 FK cartridge to close the performance gap between handgun and carbine rounds giving shooters carbine level effectiveness from a compact platform. The lead free bullet construction also satisfies environmentally restricted ranges and hunting areas without sacrificing terminal performance. Each round uses a brass case and boxer primer for reliable ignition and easy reloading and the load is boxed 50 rounds per package for range sessions and field carry alike. When fired from an FK BRNO pistol equipped with the maker s patented recoil attenuating system felt recoil is comparable to cartridges carrying less than half the kinetic energy keeping the shooter on target for faster follow up shots. FK BRNO rates the F9 Copper effective on defensive threats and game up to 300 lbs at 100 yards and dangerous game up to 500 lbs at 50 yards. This combination of flat shooting performance and manageable recoil makes the 7.5 FK platform a genuine alternative for shooters wanting more power than a pistol caliber without stepping up to a rifle.
