Dewey Chamber Brush for M1A M14 Features The Dewey Chamber Brush for M1A M14 is built from bronze bristles sized to match the chamber dimensions of M1A M14 and M1 Garand rifles giving a precise fit that generic bore brushes cannot match. Bronze is soft enough to avoid scratching the chamber walls while still cutting through hardened burnt powder fouling left behind after firing. The brush pushes into the chamber with solvent applied then the bolt is closed on the back of the brush to hold it securely in place during use. This purpose-built fit is what allows the brush to reach fouling that accumulates specifically in the chamber neck and shoulder area of these rifles. Once seated the brush is rotated using a punch or screwdriver placed through the ratchet holes molded into its body giving the shooter mechanical leverage without needing a dedicated cleaning rod handle. Pulling back while continuing to ratchet the brush walks it back out of the chamber cleanly. This ratcheting method makes the brush easy to control even in a tight chamber reducing the risk of dropped tools or an incomplete cleaning pass. For M1A M14 and M1 Garand owners who want a chamber specifically clean of powder residue this brush is a simple dedicated solution.
