Daniel Defense M4A1 Features The Daniel Defense M4A1 runs on a direct impingement operating system with a chrome-lined threaded barrel and a carbine-length gas system delivering the reliable cycling that has made the M4 pattern a proven combat platform. The GRIP-N-RIP charging handle gives shooters a larger more positive gripping surface for faster more confident manipulation when running the rifle hard. A permanently attached Daniel Defense flash suppressor helps control muzzle signature and the manual safety provides straightforward mil-spec-style control over the rifle s status. Together these features make the M4A1 a dependable combat-proven platform for serious rifle work. Finished in Deep Woods Green Cerakote across the 7075-T6 aluminum receiver the M4A1 stands apart from a standard black rifle while retaining Cerakote s proven corrosion resistance. The Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II handguard offers a full-length rail system for mounting optics lights and other accessories exactly where the shooter needs them. A Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip provide a comfortable familiar point of contact and the rifle ships with a 32-round polymer AR-style magazine ready to run. At 6.74 pounds it remains light and maneuverable for a full-length carbine.
