CVA Optima Northwest Features The CVA Optima Northwest pairs a stainless steel black nitride finished barrel with a drilled and tapped receiver giving hunters a corrosion-resistant platform matched with two included cheek risers for a properly customized comb height. This adjustable comb system lets shooters fine-tune their eye alignment whether they are running iron sights or have mounted a scope of their own choosing. An adjustable length of pull with a removable spacer means the stock can be lengthened or shortened to match heavy cold-weather clothing or a smaller-framed shooter extending the rifle s usefulness across seasons and users. The 1:28 inch twist rate is cut to stabilize saboted muzzleloader projectiles for consistent accuracy at hunting distances. A semi-vertical grip with an ambidextrous palm swell gives the shooter a more natural hold and better trigger control than a traditional straight-gripped muzzleloader stock while the ambidextrous hammer spur keeps the rifle equally usable from either side of the body. Williams fiber optic sights provide a bright fast sight picture for quick target acquisition in low light common during early and late season hunts. The OD Green synthetic stock resists moisture and temperature swings far better than traditional wood while keeping the rifle s profile subdued in the field. At 41 inches overall the Optima Northwest strikes a practical balance between maneuverability and the sight radius hunters need for confident shots.
