CVA Optima Features The CVA Optima shares its name with a popular predecessor but has been redesigned with features modeled after CVA s top-of-the-line Accura including the same trigger-guard actuated breeching lever and neutral center-of-gravity trigger. A quick-release breech plug allows fast tool-free removal for easier cleaning after a day in the field. The 26 fluted black nitride barrel provides a good balance between weight and long-range accuracy whether hunting thick cover or glassing open terrain. A one-piece DuraSight Picatinny rail comes standard for mounting a scope and CVA s solid aluminum PalmSaver ramrod makes loading more comfortable with every shot. The adjustable comb system includes two separate cheek risers that raise the cheek rest a quarter inch or a half inch giving hunters three different height options to dial in the ideal sight picture. An adjustable length of pull with a removable spacer lets the rifle fit shooters of different sizes or accommodate heavier winter clothing. A semi-vertical grip and ambidextrous palm swell provide a natural hold and better trigger control while an ambidextrous hammer spur ensures ease of use from either side. Finished in Realtree Legacy camo this muzzleloader is built for hunters who want a dependable adjustable rifle ready for the deep woods or open field.
