Cor-Bon Self-Defense Features The Cor-Bon Self-Defense .38 Spl load is built around a 125 grain jacketed hollow point bullet designed to expand reliably even after passing through heavy clothing common in real-world defensive encounters. The +P pressure rating pushes velocity to a rated 950 fps giving the bullet the energy it needs to expand consistently rather than simply punching a narrow hole. That 251 ft lbs of muzzle energy measured from a realistic 1.875 inch snub-nose test barrel reflects performance shooters can expect from the compact revolvers this round is built for. Cor-Bon designed this load specifically around short barrels so velocity and expansion are not sacrificed when fired from a pocket-sized carry gun. Packaged 20 rounds to a box this load is sized for practical carry rotation and range verification without the bulk of a bulk case. Cor-Bon has built its reputation on maximizing terminal performance from personal defense calibers and this .38 Special +P loading carries that same design philosophy. The jacketed hollow point construction balances expansion with sufficient penetration a combination that concealed carriers and home defenders rely on when split seconds matter. For shooters carrying a compact .38 Special revolver this Cor-Bon load is a dependable choice for sale at GrabAGun.
