Cimarron Firearms Frontier Pre-War Features The Cimarron Firearms Frontier Pre-War is built on a case hardened frame with a period-correct Pre-War design and ejector rod replicating the look and function of original frontier-era revolvers. Chambered in .44-40 Win the 6-round cylinder gives shooters access to a classic lever-gun-compatible cartridge for matched rifle and revolver setups. The standard hammer and trigger preserve the traditional single action manual of arms requiring a full cock before each shot. This faithful reproduction is built for shooters who want authentic single action handling in a dependable modern revolver. The standard blue barrel finish contrasts nicely against the case hardened frame s mottled colors giving the Frontier a striking two-tone appearance typical of quality single actions. A one-piece walnut grip provides a traditional feel in the hand while standing up to repeated firing sessions. The fixed sight setup keeps the profile clean and uncluttered matching the aesthetic of period-correct frontier revolvers. At just over 41 ounces this Frontier in .44-40 Win is a solid choice for cowboy action competitors and collectors alike.
