C Products Defense DuraMag SS Features The C Products Defense DuraMag SS is built around caliber specific rib geometry engineered for the 400 Legend cartridge since a cartridge this different in profile from standard AR calibers demands a stack designed around it rather than a generic mag body. That internal geometry keeps the cartridge stack aligned round after round reducing the feeding issues that occur when a straight-walled hunting cartridge is forced through a magazine not built for it. The stainless steel body resists corrosion and wear from repeated cycling in the field. This makes the DuraMag SS a dependable choice for hunters running 400 Legend in an AR-15 platform. The yellow anti-tilt AGF follower rides in the DuraMag SS to keep the top round square to the feed lips preventing the tilt that can cause a stoppage at the worst moment. Its high visibility color also makes it easy to spot when the magazine has run empty during a fast reload. Stainless steel construction adds durability over standard alloy bodies holding up to repeated loading dropping and field carry. Built to fit AR-15 pattern rifles the DuraMag SS 400 Legend gives hunters and shooters a magazine engineered specifically for their cartridge rather than adapted from one.
