Rossi LWC Features The Rossi LWC uses a break open single-shot action that keeps the design light simple and easy to maintain with an 83.84 ounce unloaded weight that makes it comfortable to carry on a long hike or all-day range session. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped with a Picatinny rail installed from the factory giving shooters a ready-made mounting surface for a scope suited to 6.5 Creedmoor s long-range capability. A push button crossbolt safety paired with a transfer bar mechanism keeps the rifle secure to carry with the action closed adding a real margin of safety in the field. The 1:8 inch right hand twist rate is matched to heavier 6.5 Creedmoor bullets helping stabilize them for consistent accuracy at extended range. The fixed black synthetic stock and steel-with-polymer-overmold frame keep the LWC light without sacrificing durability and the design includes a rubber recoil pad to soften felt recoil on repeated single shots. A threaded 16.5 inch barrel cut to 5/8x24 lets shooters mount a suppressor directly and the LWC s break action design makes loading and unloading straightforward even with a can attached. Sling swivel studs are built in for carrying the rifle afield and the overall 31.5 inch length keeps the LWC maneuverable in brush and blinds alike. For hunters and shooters who want an affordable suppressor-ready single-shot rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor the Rossi LWC delivers a lightweight purpose-built platform ready to top with glass and take to the field.
