Product Description
The Walther Sportmodell is a classic German bolt-action rimfire training rifle chambered in .22 LR. Produced by Waffenfabrik Walther in Zella-Mehlis, Thuringen, this rifle features the long, military-style configuration commonly associated with pre-war German training rifles.
This example is equipped with a full-length wood stock and handguard, barrel bands, sling mounting points, a fixed front sight, and an adjustable tangent-style rear sight graduated for distance. The rifle feeds one cartridge at a time through its single-shot bolt-action system.
The wood and metal show visible handling marks, finish wear, and other signs of age consistent with a vintage firearm, giving the rifle plenty of period character. Does have a crack in the stock shown in picture
