The Tanfoglio FT1911 Series 70 is an Italian-manufactured reworking of the classic John Browning Government design, optimized specifically for sport and competitive shooting. Both the frame and slide are forged from high-quality steel, giving the firearm a substantial, durable feel that heavily mitigates the recoil of heavy .45 ACP loads. The stainless steel slide is engineered with deep rear serrations to ensure a positive grip when racking the weapon. It comes equipped with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, making it highly adaptable for both right- and left-handed shooters.
