Chambered in 7.62x39mm, the AKS-762 represents an important period in the history of Chinese AK-pattern firearms imported into the American market. The rifle features the familiar stamped-receiver Kalashnikov configuration, with a traditional wood-stocked appearance on many examples and characteristic Chinese manufacturing details.
