Offered here is an exceptionally clean FN SCAR 16S chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington and finished in classic black. This is the desirable legacy configuration with the original reciprocating charging-handle system, retaining the authentic mechanical design and operating character that helped establish the SCAR as one of the most recognizable modern military-derived rifle platforms. The rifle is represented by its owner as never fired outside any manufacturer proof or function testing and remains in excellent exterior condition. Its hard-anodized monolithic aluminum receiver, polymer lower, folding and telescoping stock, adjustable cheekpiece, controls, rails and exposed barrel surfaces show only minimal evidence of storage or handling. No corrosion, abuse, cracks or significant finish damage are visible. The SCAR 16S is built around FN's proven short-stroke gas-piston system with a rotating bolt, cold-hammer-forged chrome-lined free-floating barrel, adjustable gas regulator and user-removable barrel assembly. It retains its factory folding front and rear sights, ambidextrous safety and magazine controls, full-length top rail and additional accessory rails. The side-folding stock provides adjustable length of pull and cheek height while maintaining the unmistakable original SCAR profile. This example is equipped with its FN/PWS FSC556 compensator and flash suppressor, which the original owner reports as permanently pinned and welded. It also includes a rail-mounted weapon light fitted with a clearly marked Malkoff Devices head and an added LaRue Tactical vertical foregrip. These useful, name-brand accessories provide immediate illumination and improved support-hand control without altering the rifle's original stock, sights or operating system. Two 30-round magazines are included where lawful. No original box or paperwork is included. This is an exceptionally well-preserved legacy FN SCAR 16S with practical accessories already installed and ready to complete with the buyer's preferred optic and sling. As with any previously owned firearm, the exact round count and ownership history cannot be independently verified. The rifle's condition and included equipment are represented to the best of our ability based on the owner's information and our visual inspection. All used firearms are sold as is, with no warranties, expressed or implied.
