Fizik Nanuq 2 GTX Flat Shoes No Bad Weather, No Excuses Cold, wet winter trails have a way of sorting out the gear that actually works from the gear that just looks the part. The Nanuq 2 GTX Flat is built around a GORE-TEX PFAS-free membrane that keeps feet dry even when the trail turns into a creek, paired with a fleece-lined interior that holds warmth through long days in low temperatures. The ripstop upper resists the abrasion that comes with technical terrain, and thermo-laminated PU reinforcement at the toe cap, heel, and sides adds protection where winter riding punishes a shoe hardest. On the bottom, the X2 flat-specific outsole uses Vibram XS Trek rubber with a directional lug pattern that locks onto platform pins and keeps traction when you step off the bike into mud or snow. A BOA L6 dial and zippered ankle cuff let you dial the fit one-handed, even in gloves, and the raised cuff keeps trail debris and water out at the ankle where you need it most.
