The Tecnica Mach1 HV 130 Ski Boot builds its 103mm high-volume last around the same C. A. S. shell and T-Drive spine as the rest of the Mach1 line. The extra room through the forefoot and instep doesn't soften the boot's 130 flex or its power transfer, so a wider foot gets the full Mach1 platform instead of a scaled-back version of it. Lift Lock buckles hold open and out of the way, and a softer Quick Instep panel makes the boot easier to step into. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've fit plenty of wide-footed skiers into softer boots just to solve the width problem, but the HV 130 held its edge response through hard, fast turns exactly like the narrower Mach1 fits I already trust."
