The Salomon Lotus w/ Pearl BOA + Spell Snowboard Package pairs a true beginner board with a boot and binding that carry a little more room to grow, so a first season doesn't mean a second purchase the moment turns start linking together. The Lotus itself keeps things forgiving with a soft flex and Bite Free Edges detuned tip to tail, while the Pearl BOA boot and Spell binding both stay soft enough for day one without going dead once speed starts to build. A heat-moldable liner and tool-free strap adjustments mean less time fussing with gear and more time using it. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I dialed in the BOA closure and the binding straps in under a minute before a lift line, no tools, no second-guessing the fit. Everything stayed put through the whole run, so I never had to stop and readjust anything once I was moving."
