The Kinetic Alpine Stretch Jacket builds 4-way stretch into a 3-layer Pertex(R) Shield shell so it moves through a full day of shifting effort, not just one hard push uphill. Full-venting pit zips dump heat on demand during a steady climb, then seal back up for wind and precipitation on an exposed ridge or descent. A mountain helmet-compatible 2-point hood holds visibility and protection without adding bulk under a brain bucket. Semi-concealed chest pockets and a dedicated ski pass pocket keep essentials reachable through a long day in the alpine. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore this from a slow morning skin up through a windy ridge traverse and a fast descent, and I never had to swap layers underneath. The pit zips dumped enough heat on the climb that I stayed dry, then the hood held up under my helmet once the wind picked up on top."
