The Nordica Unleashed 106 skis tune a single strip of metal underfoot through Drift Lock Technology, adding weight and damping exactly where a skier needs confidence without stiffening the tips and tails. Paired with a GR400 Carbon Glass laminate, that targeted metal keeps the ski locked in when speeds climb or snow firms up, so an advanced-expert skier can push this 106mm waist as hard as the terrain demands. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I opened this ski up through chattery, wind-affected snow at speed and it never felt like it was working to keep up with me. The metal underfoot does exactly what a full sheet does when I need it, without making the ski feel dead everywhere else."
